Mental health issues and loneliness is one of the largest issues we face in modern times. At Mental Health Chat, we know how much a friend can change a life, and how important it is to have someone to talk to. Our mission is to provide you with a secure, unbiased, and sympathetic environment where one has the freedom to express their thoughts, struggles, and triumphs in regards to mental health and loneliness.
Every week 1 in 6 people around the world struggle with a common mental health issue. It’s estimated that 40% don’t have anyone to talk to and are suffering alone.
We are a group of people who understand the struggle of mental health issues and loneliness. We believe that no one should suffer in silence or alone. We are here to offer encouragement to those who are facing the battle that not many understand.
We do our best to give everyone the resources they need and at the same time give them a platform to connect with people in the same situation. All our services anonymously, free, and your information is highly protected.
Mental Health Chat welcomes everyone to be a part of our community – no matter gender, background, sexual orientation, religion and race – we are all the same.
LGBTQ-people have a four time higher suicide risk. It’s estimated that 86% of all LGBTQ-persons have experienced mental health issues first-hand.
We want everyone to find the help and the resources they need. To do so, we are partnered up with different groups and organizations. To ensure quality and security, we have high requirements for our partners – so you can find the best support groups, blogs, websites, organizations and such.
